-From Monday night-
I wake up and roll out of bed. I walk into the bathroom and stare into the mirror in horror. There are blood stains/smears all over my face. They are on both cheeks, my forehead, everything. I open my mouth to scream; as I do, blood comes from my mouth! I then notice where the blood on my face must’ve come frome..my tooth. (You know those pointy “vampire” teeth two teeth away from your front ones?) One of my “vampire” teeth is half brown and bleeding horribly. Suddenly as I grab it with my fingers, the pain starts. It wasn’t hurting before but is now. I ask everybody for some pain killers and nobody has any. My mother is in the background saying,”Just suck it up and deal with it.” I turn to my husband and suggest we see a dentist ASAP. Then, the next image in the dream is of myself doing a 180 degree turn towards the mirror again and this time..the tooth is in my hand! It has magically fallen out in my hand, no pulling or jerking at all.
*I woke up.*
One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxieties about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where appearance and attractiveness matter and your teeth help to convey that image.
Another rationalization for these falling teeth dreams may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxieties. Perhaps the dream may be a result of you being unprepared for the task at hand.
Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream may be an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.
A scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicate that you are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks rather than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and correct us.
It has also been said that if you dream of your teeth falling out, then it symbolizes money. This is based on the old tooth fairy story. If you lose a tooth and leave it under the pillow, a tooth fairy would bring you money.
To see blood in your dream, represents life, love, and passion as well as disappointments.
To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood, signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends. Your past actions has come back to haunt you.
