I am walking through a dollar store. We are told to put our purses under the buggy. I walk up and down aisles. I notice my purse missing. I start panicking. I go looking for it in the parking lot and all over the store. The store owner is acting shady.
There is something vague about her wanting a reward for finding my purse as she pulls it from under the counter.
It fades to a different scene of me finding out the truth; the store owner has a little ten year old girl (maybe her daughter?) who sneaks around the store stealing purses. She does this to collect the reward money. But she’s also trapping people in the store so they cannot tell the police.
I somehow escape to get help, but I have to get my dad to come back and get my mom and her baby. (She has a baby in this dream, though not in real life.) My dad and I get back to discover the horrible truth…
The owner is not only stealing bags for reward money, she is keeping people with babies hostage in an attempt to steal them too!
To dream that someone is stealing something from you indicates that you are experiencing an identity crisis or are suffering from some sort of loss in your life. Alternatively, the dream means that someone has stolen your success or has taken credit for something you did. Perhaps you feel that you have been treated unfairly.
To see or be in a grocery or convenience store in your dream suggests that you are emotionally and mentally strained. Alternatively, the dream means that you are brainstorming for some new ideas or looking at the various choices out there for you. The dream may be a pun on something that is in “store” for you. It could signify the inevitable.
